Formulas are used to determine when a Condition is considered fulfilled and we can move on to the next one. Formulas bring toghether Instruments Parameters and Variables to make the P&ID algorithm well structured. They can contain:

• Comparison operators: < > = != <= >=
• Logical operators: AND OR XOR
• Pharanthesis: ( )
• Custom elements

You don’t need to type the formulas by yourself. You can simply use the Formula Manager to insert formulas in the active condition or in the ones to be created.
