Create new Condition

This can be done directly from the Ribbon or via the Conditions Manager.

Create Condition directly from the Ribbon

1. Press New Condition

Create a new condition with one click on the immediate next position of the active one, or expand the drop menu to see more options.

Now that the condition has been created, move to the Edit Condition to see how to edit it.

Create new Condition using the Conditions Manager

1. Open Conditions Manager

In the AseptSoft Ribbon, in the Conditions Group click on “Conditions…”

2. Press “Add…”

Press the “Add…” button in the bottom-left corner.

3. Manually compose new Condition

Type the full details of how many new Conditions you wish to add. After each new condition added, you can edit the textg boxes and add then another one. 

Note: Use the following bottons:

  • Clear – remove the text placed in the texboxes
  • Update – instead of adding a new condition with the specified properties, set all of the properties to the curently selected condition
  • Arrow up/ Arrow down – place the selected condition one position up or down.
  • Remove Condition (X) – will cancel that condition from being added.

4. Import Existing Conditions from the same project

Get already created conditions and slightly edit them:

  1. Select the source Process and Phase – there should already be the conditions you want to import now
  2. Chech the boxes of the conditions you wish to import to the active phase
  3. Press “Add selected”

Alternatively, after the step 1 just click on the condition you need from the right list, and all of it’s properties will appear on the textboxes in the middle. There you can edit the properties as you wish and then press “Add New”.

 Remove Condition

1. Open Conditions Manager

In the AseptSoft Ribbon, in the Conditions Group click on “Conditions…”

2. Select the Condition

3. Press Delete

4. Confirm changes

Edit Condition

1. Open Conditions Manager

In the AseptSoft Ribbon, in the Conditions Group click on “Conditions…”

2. Select the target and edit it

Select the condition you want to edit and update the details as you wish

3. Apply

Press the “Apply” button or the “OK” button located in the bottom side of the window.

Save

Press the “Save” button in the AseptSoft ribbon. That will write the new association in all the other Processes if any, and then Save both the P&ID structure and the excel files.
