Before we begin
Open the Categories Pane
This can be done by clicking on the “Categories Pane” button located in the Categories menu in the States and Categories group, in the AseptSoft ribbon.
Create new Category
1. New
Directly press on the “New…” button.
Now go to the next section about editing a Category. Everything is identical, but you will work on a separate window.
Edit Source
Edit the following fields as you need:
Name
Type any new name you want for the Category.
Description
The description will not affect anything. It will be just a general guideline for those who will use it. It is optional.
Remove Category
Note: When removing a Category, all the States in that Category will move to the “None” category, and will remain inaccessible to any shape until you assign them another Category.
1. Select the Category
Click on the Category that you want to remove.
2. Press “Delete”
Press on the “Delete” button located in the bottom-left side of the window.
Save
Press the “Save” button in the AseptSoft ribbon.
