How AseptSoft came to life
The Beginning
Aseptconn’s involvement in a project focused on process design marked the start of something significant. Initially, a physicist from Aseptconn was tasked with taking over a process design from an external company. However, it quickly became apparent that the project had serious deficiencies. After a lengthy and challenging period spent salvaging the project, a meeting was convened with all team members. During this meeting, a young software developer participated and introduced a transformative idea for simplifying the process design workflow. Having listened to numerous complaints about the manual nature of the current process and the issues it entailed, he pursued his concept and, over the course of several months, developed a prototype for what would become AseptSoft.
Following two presentations to external companies, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Consequently, Aseptconn’s leadership recognized that investing in AseptSoft had the potential to revolutionize process design. Thus, AseptSoft was officially launched and prepared for further development.
Market Entry
After AseptSoft’s entry into the market, the software quickly attracted considerable interest from industry professionals and companies alike. Its innovative approach to digitizing process design resonated with users who were seeking more efficient and automated solutions. To encourage widespread adoption and gather insights, we offered a free trial period. During this time, we collected valuable feedback that allowed us to make significant improvements, particularly in enhancing AseptSoft’s user interface and overall user experience, making it even more intuitive and accessible for a broader range of users.
Initially, AseptSoft was developed to integrate seamlessly with Visio and AutoCAD Plant 3D, two widely used tools in the process design industry. However, recognizing the diverse needs of our customers, we expanded AseptSoft’s compatibility to include additional platforms such as AutoCAD Basic and Comos. This strategic expansion allowed AseptSoft to serve a wider market and cater to varying process design requirements, further strengthening its position as a leading solution in the industry.
Current Status
The initial framework surrounding AseptSoft, including marketing, presentation strategies, and licensing, has been revamped to reflect our growth and evolving goals. Additionally, AseptSoft has secured a valuable partnership with AUTODESK, positioning us as official resellers of AutoCAD and Plant 3D bundles. We have also established partnerships with other companies and attracted several major new clients.
While AseptSoft was originally developed for the pharmaceutical industry, we have successfully expanded our reach into other sectors, including the food and beverage, and semiconductor industries. AseptSoft is currently in a flourishing phase and is well-positioned to make a significant impact, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.
