States – Assign to shapes

In order to assign a State in the active Phase to an associated shape, the selected shape must have the State’s Category on its Categories list. To do that , follow the “Categories – Assign to shapes” tutorial:

1. Pick up a shape

In Visio select the valve you want to assign new shape:

Note: The selected shape needs to be associated!

2. Assign State

Assign to that valve the desired state by clicking on the “States” menu and then pick from the available states. If you don’t see there the state that you want, you need to add to that shape the category that contains the desired State.

3. Set the percent

If the selected State is Procentual (and not Static), then you can set a new percentage.

Note: You can done all of there by simply writting in Excel in the active Phase the state that you want and the percent that you want.

Examples of what you can write in excel:

  • open
  • closed
  • filled
  • open 5%
  • open (53%)
  • open 49
  • open (21)
  • filled       (35%)

Save

Press the “Save” button in the AseptSoft ribbon.
